This shoe was worn during the month of September 2016 by Grade I winning stallion Dialed In while residing at Darby Dan Farm. Dialed In was victorious in the Grade I Florida Derby and Grade 3 Holy Bull. Dialed In was also the #1 Freshman Sire of 2016!
The oak plaque upon which the shoe is mounted is handmade by retired jockey, Jack Neagle, in the Darby Dan woodshop. The wood comes from a pin oak tree planted under the direction of E.R. Bradley (Idle Hour Farm - circa 1906) and recovered by Darby Dan Farm after a storm in 2009.
The plaque measures 7x11" and is equipped with a sawtooth hanging unit. The mounted shoe is accompanied by a certificate of authentication from Owner John Phillips.
